Who am I ?
Artist above all
Philosophy
As a graphite artist, my work is a journey into the intricate dance between light and shadow, form and void. Each stroke of graphite on paper is a meditation on the delicate balance of contrasts that define our world. My art is not merely about replicating what I see but about capturing the essence and emotion behind each subject.
I believe in the power of simplicity. Graphite, with its monochromatic palette, allows me to strip away the distractions of color and focus on the purity of form and texture. This medium challenges me to convey depth, emotion, and narrative through subtle gradations and meticulous detail.
My drawings are influenced by philosophical concepts that explore the nature of existence and perception. I am inspired by the existentialist pursuit of authenticity and the stoic embrace of simplicity and tranquility. Each piece is an exploration of these ideas, inviting viewers to reflect on their own perceptions and experiences.
Through my art, I aim to create a dialogue between the viewer and the subject, encouraging a deeper appreciation for the beauty in everyday moments. My work is a testament to the quiet power of graphite, a medium that, in its simplicity, reveals the profound complexity of the world around us.
